Yeah so I recently bought an Ibook g4 with the airport card installed and whatnot, but the only problem is it won't connect to the internet. It says it is connected to my network and yet still the internet won't work. The only way it does work is through the ethernet cable. Help please...

Old topic, but I have a netbook with the same problem, and probably because it's an older computer, it's running on a WEP internet card which, from past experience is horrible. You can usually go to a place like Fry's our microcenter and get an updated card.

What's the wireless standard on the airport card? Is it the same as your router?
